Form & Cord is a small woodworking shop run by a husband-and-wife team in Charlestown, Rhode Island. After years of self-taught practice, we now build furniture in the Scandinavian tradition—clean lines, honest joinery, and materials chosen to be used every day. Each piece is made by hand, one at a time.

Each table features a solid-wood top and base in your choice of white oak, walnut, or cherry, joined with traditional methods—mortise-and-tenon, breadboard ends, and hand-shaped details that reward a closer look. Available in a range of sizes from intimate four-seat tables to long farmhouse lengths suited for gatherings; custom dimensions and finishes are also available. Edge profiles range from soft eased edges to subtly sculpted, with hand-rubbed oil finishes that bring out the depth of the grain and develop a warm patina over time.
